I am a PuppyMill survivor. I was used to breed & make money for humans, these humans neglected me and many others. The kennel that I was imprisoned at was raided on 10/23/12. There were 122 living dogs and 130+ dead at this licensed kennel. My name is Dolce and I am estimated to be 1-2 years old. I live well with other canines and prefer a home with other canines. I earned my name Dolce meaning "sweet" during the raid. Despite my situation and despite the scary confusion during the raid, I remained positive, friendly and out going. Who could resist my smiling face? Dolce is vet examined, vaccinated to age by a vet, Brucellosis tested negative, heartworm tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed, spayed with laser and current on monthly preventions.
* The Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County is a non-profit organization dedicated to Animal Rescue, Fostering, and Low Cost Spay and Neuter Programs. We are a foster care only organization and do not have a location at this time.

* All of the rescues in our care are living in foster home environments. This allows our rescues to live like a member of the family and aids in accessing their placement needs.
